Hydrogen car scepticism

Technology Review: Blogs: The Last Car You Would Ever Buy--Literally

Sounds like some pretty good arguments being put in that post about why hydrogen fuelled cars of any variety are not a good idea.

  1. Hey, your blog has developed a green hue. Time for a wee bath?

  2. Caz, it's meant to be beige, which doesn't look a bit green on the few monitors I have seen it on. You have any colour blindness do you?:)

  3. Ack! Now that you have told me, I keep on imagining I am seeing a green tinge too. Will experiment some more.

  4. No color blindness.

However, just between you and me, I confess that for YEARS I was convinced that some of our bath towels were a shade of grey, until I mentioned the "grey" towels to my daughter one day and she sneered at me: "you mean the green towels Mum?".

    *Splutter*

An odd green, by any measure, and I'm still not convinced they weren't grey.

The green is fine, it's not strident, softens the screen - white can create too much glare, which is okay for short reads, but not if you want to loiter. I'm on Firefox, don't know if that makes a difference, but I know Firefox and Explorer can have quite different displays sometimes.

Oh, and another confession: for a long time I've used what I thought was a baby-poo font color, from time to time, for quoted text on my blog, until only a few weeks ago when a commenter shrieked at me about the horrors of the ORANGE font.

    Sheesh.

Hey, truly, I'm long sighted, NOT color blind!

If I squint I can sort of see the beige through the soft green, truly.
