Read the article of the smart cards and it is a smart idea. Keeping track of the people most responsibile for the spread of AIDS may very well help to reduce the epidemic. Bill Gates is hardly evil, really wealthy, but not evil. The Gates Charitable Trust has given away billions, has 30 billion in the coffers for further distribution and as of yesterday the world's 2nd wealthest man (Warren Buffet) has made commitments to contribute an additional 30 billion to the trust.
Oh, I don't think Gates is a bad guy at all. Guess I have minor reservations about systems that encourage prostitutes to stay as prostitutes, that's all.
