Ever since making an off the cuff comment on Saturday night that Julia Gillard seems to have very large earlobes, my site meter has indicated that there have been half a dozen hits here (at least) resulting from Google searches of "Julia Gillard earlobes".
Doesn't that seem odd?
Anyway, proof that I am right can be found in the picture linked above. It seems to show she has 2 piercings in her left lobe at least. I think she could fit a few more in, easily!
UPDATE: Julia is our new PM, and this has caused a sudden upsurge in the number of hits to this blog by people who specifically Google "Julia Gillard earlobes". I can't decide if I should be honoured or disturbed. Anyway, to keep all such visitors happy, I have found the most explicit ear lobe photo of Julia ever. Knock yourselves out:
UPDATE 2: Maybe it was the lighting. Maybe she's been wearing some particularly pendulous earrings lately. But for whatever reason, Julia's earlobes struck me as particularly big on the "Great Debate" tonight. And more and people seem to be noticing, given the hundreds and hundreds who have arrived here via Google searches. Here's a screenshot from tonight:

Ha ha, so I'm not the only one. I noticed on election night, when she was wearing these enormous square ear-rings. They seemed to be attached to the very bottom of the lobe, so every time her head moved they would swing all over the place.

On a search for simply "julia gillard" - what comes up as an option in google "julia gillard earlobes"- love it so much. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Why does this make me so happy? 'Cos I give my friend shit behind her back for having massive earlobes. But Julia's are more like twice the size.
Kind a weird that anybody would have time to spend reading nd commenting on this subject but obviously we have time.
I have 2 things to discuss;
1.I can't remember if it is Basque or Breton but I noticed that one of these groups (please escuse my memory) have larger lobes than other populations.
2. There must be sex mad people out there that have a fetish for large lobes, is there? What are these people called? (sensible answers only please)

I just added to your tally of readers googling Julia Gillard's earlobes! It wasn't for me, I was showing a work colleague and she didn't know about them so I googled them for her. I can't believe how many people haven't realised the size of our PM's lobes.
