Unless you count that long Sunday afternoon I had as a kid once when I looked up to the big old clock we had on the wall and noticed that its two hands had somehow turned into twelve hands. (True).
Me having a weird daymare? Just being my ordinary fanciful self? Something truly weird actually happened? No idea, but I still remember it.
Arthur C Clarke once remarked that the main problem he had with stories of people meeting aliens on flying saucers from outer space was that those aliens on flying saucers from outer space never had the good grace to come and talk to him!

ReplyDeleteI just looked up, saw it, got scared and looked away! Next time I looked it was normal. My parents still have that clock. It's a good 'un.
