This article reports on a recent, and completely novel, suggestion for removing CO2 from the atmosphere. It involves lasers and radio waves beamed into the sky, and sounds highly speculative as to whether it would work.

Imagine, we could accidentally remove too much carbon dioxide and plunge the earth into an ice age such as we have never seen before!
That would give Bob Brown and the gang a wonderful opportunity to come out and denounce human intervention in nature, wouldn't it?
