All it needs is a rotating restaurant on top and it would be perfect.
Speaking of architecture what is your opinion on the Brisbane Square Library, if you've seen it. I got into a discussion on Across Difficult Country about it and I was wondering what your opinion of it was.
It's a god awful embarrassment, in my opinion. (I haven't been inside though, maybe it will transport me to another world.) If it was a weird enough shape to actually look like a pile of kids blocks, so that it had a surprising sculptural aspect to it overall, the garish colours might work. But it's just a mundane shaped building with ridiculous colours.
In a similar vein, I cannot get used to Federation Square in Melbourne either, and I feel certain that architecture of this kind just has "replace me as soon as you can" written all over it.
