One of the more interesting planets found

Waterworld planet is more Earth-like than any discovered before | Science | guardian.co.uk

This makes me think: has there ever been a science fiction novel based on the exploration of a entire water planet? I can't think of one off the top of my head.

Can't think of a novel offhand, but there are plenty of SF stories or novels set on the seas that come to mind. One notable example would be in one of Arthur C Clarke's Space Odysseys, where the astronauts go beneath the frozen surface of the seas of Titan and discover life.
