I've been meaning to note, for the minuscule number of readers who might be interested in what I occasionally say about wine, that my wife and I both find shiraz viognier blends a very pleasing way to drink red wine. We first tasted this in the Barossa Valley on our Adelaide holiday a couple of years ago. I'm not sure if it is popular (this
2008 link says it is "becoming popular") but it is good.
