When they can get it down to 10 minutes, I'll start

Forget the gym: Just 12 minutes' exercise a week is enough to stay fit, says study

(Pretty extraordinary, if 3, four minute bouts of exercise a week can help, though.)

The exercise thing is mostly nonsense. Just keep moving, even walking is good. Recent studies highlight that independent of physical activity simply sitting for long periods increases the risk of type 2 diabetes. There was also a recent article indicating that endurance sports increase the risk of heart problems, esp. at fib. This is also supported by earlier findings suggesting heart failure can be an issue for endurance sports. Fitness nuts and gym junkies are not going way too far.

We don't need a lot of exercise to be healthy but the amount stated here seems to small to me.
