global warming is all a conspiracy. It is so successful that all major central banks believe in it for example and the heads of all the organisations that fight bushfires in Australia believe in it!
A conspiracy exists when information which is highly contradictory to the official story is kept secret.

The old men accusation is meant to be a put down, but it's actually the opposite if you ever gave it more than a little thought. Old men, have more time on their hands and are also unburdened with the fear of losing grants or even their jobs (see Cook University). They also have a lot of experience in being able to analyze data. They're not beholden to anyone.
