(Trump has long reminded me of the mugging speech performances of Benito, and it struck me again this week after seeing the rally in which he tried hard, really hard, to stop the "send her back" chant.)

Colberts such a moron and toady. It beggars belief that people could make him an intellectual leader.
Jimmy Dore did a far more substantial criticism of Trump in this matter and also related things from Omar's point of view. The other girls are a bit nutty. The crowd was chanting for Omar to go home since there is suspicion that she organised a sham marriage with her own brother in order to stay in the country.
I tend to want to look the other way in cases of this sort, just because I cannot blame people for bending the rules. Of course if people press too hard on the matter and it winds up in a court, I guess she may have to go home. But you know you try and look the other way a little bit. Personally I think Donalds a little out of line here and Omar has been a pretty straight shooter. I like her. May be a bit of a sucker for good looking girls but I think she's been very honest and courageous. But as I said the other girls are kind of nutty as far as I've been able to make out so far.
Jimmy Dore is terrific and NOT a toady. But Colbert..... He's never been very funny. He didn't bring any light on the subject. He's no good really. Trying to do some pale version of the Letterman show. Extremely lame. Unless you are willing to be offensive to the oligarchy you cannot be funny. Jimmy Dore is sometimes pretty funny. And always a good source of news.

Even Rand Paul being a bit of a dick about Omar. On twitter I was going after a lot of the tribe for their lynch mob attitude towards Omar and that did seem to lead to some sort of moderation. Right up until the time where you get thrown off.
