It appears from this article that John Roskam, long standing IPA head who can't get a Lib nomination to Parliament when younger twerps in his organisation have, has long been personally invested in attacking the COVID-19 semi lockdown.
He is a wanker, and a dangerous one at that.
I would still like to know, though, whether he is being prodded by a wealthy donor into aggressively campaigning on this. Or is it just his own very bad idea?

We have to wind back restrictions AND intensify the fight against the virus. We have to do both. Its not a contradiction to those not suffering mental constipation. Where, outside of Israel, is the stockpiling of the antidote? Why doesn't every old guy have the antidote and cans of oysters in their pantry? Why hasn't the CSIRO come out with extra strength vitamin D, A and K2 vitamins? Why doesn't every medical clinic offer high-dose vitamin C therapy?

He is just toeing the conservative talking point about the lockdown. He'll say anything to get himself some attention. What is it with these small government types who want so desperately to be in government? Tim Wilson was the biggest hypocrite in that regard, took a job at the HRC specifically created for him and now an MP. Wilson hasn't done a thing to reduce the size of government but he enlarged his wallet.
BTW Qld lifts some restrictions next Saturday.
BTW again: there is emerging evidence of kidney damage and permanent lung damage post infection. There is also evidence that immunity post infection is not guaranteed, if that stands up over time it makes the idea of a vaccine problematic.

That's what I'm hearing too. Its biowarfare, so the smoke machine stays in operation. So you wouldn't be betting the house on anything. Estimates of the first world, first pass, death rate keep falling. But there are these other scary things going on. Even lung damage for people that were barely symptomatic. We have to take this thing very seriously.
I see it as the deep states feint before the left hook. See how carefully these guys have set this up to make fools of everyone. When they staged 9/11 they made fools of most people by convincing them of a Dr Moriarti view of terrorism with this ridiculous Osama Bin Goldstein character. But I was not going to buy anything so cartoonish, so they stooged people like me with all this planted evidence, indicting the Arab states as terrorist sponsors. So a good operation makes everyone look like idiots in the fullness of time.
Jon Rappaport looked good, then stupid, and he looks good again, and he'll be made to look stupid again later on. What we need to do is to prepare. I'm unemployed and I still put my stash together. The only thing I cannot get hold of is hydroxy-chloroquine. Everyone must put their stash together. Remembering that you cannot get strong enough vitamin D3 without going overseas.

I've been thinking about that. Most people assume if you're asymptomatic there is no damage but that is just an assumption. I'm not following the literature closely so thanks for the update. Yes GMB we do have to take this seriously but most people don't seem to perceive the potential danger in adopting a cavalier attitude.
I think we can be much more nuanced geographically. Lives are more important than medium term economy. But the money made by keeping the economy going can buy you a lot of protection if they had the knowledge. The strength of your front line immunological response is largely driven by built up vitamin D levels. Selenium is birth control for viruses generally. Zinc is birth control for this virus if and only if you can transport the zinc all the way into the cell. And the best thing to allow you to adapt to the virus when you actually are sick is probably very high vitamin C consumption. Better still massive high-dose intravenous to buy time.
This is actually pretty well established now. So much so we are at the point where it would be better to open up a great deal and use the cost savings to make sure people are geared up.
