No dark energy?

This research sounds important:

Dark energy 'doesn't exist' so can't be pushing 'lumpy' universe apart, physicists say

But I guess I have to wait for Sabine Hossenfelder's view on it before I can tell how seriously to take it!

(And I wish the article did more to explain the "'timescape' model of cosmic expansion".  Or did Sabine already talk about this?   It's hard to remember, she puts out so much content!)

Yes of course it was nonsense from the start. There is plenty of energy around but not this dark energy silliness. They never had any evidence for this ever.

As moons, planets and stars grow this sets up FOUR (4) sources of red shift and not just one. Since orbits are very forgiving they grow to accomodate the larger objects. All else follows from this.

We can’t seem to reform these people by beating around the bush. We need to be totally disrespectful of the physics guys that came along after the campaign of malicious aether denial.

Essentially you had all these Shtetl-Billie’s decide one day “I think we should try science” They formulated some kind of takeover strategy and now we appear to be stuck with all the idiocy their strategy produced.

That woman you always cite is insufficiently hostile to the mainstream. So in practical terms she fulfills the role of a limited hangout.

If you want good science for a change here is where you could go to get it:
