Well, this is an unusual read.
In the Guardian, the daughter of the late Diana Rigg (who I watched as a child in the original The Avengers, and even saw her marry James Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service only to be shot immediately after the wedding - probably the first movie I saw in a cinema with a dark, tragic ending), explains how she does this thing of tasting a little bit of her late mother's ashes before opening nights of new plays she is in.
It's not something I would ever do, but the way it is explained, it doesn't bother me all that much, either....
