There's actually quite a lot I would like to post about: the awfulness of Donald Trump and the gutlessness of the Republican Party (he'll be dumped, eventually - I can't really see any other outcome); the ridiculousness and lack of insight on the part of Tony Abbott (he is Kevin Rudd circa 2010 - but with the addition of testosterone, unpopularity with the Australian public, and fewer brain cells); the outright smug ignorance of Ted Cruz on climate change; but I am rather busy.
So instead, I will just post this trailer for Steven Spielberg's next film. I am presumably not in the prime demographic for this type of film, but the trailer is extremely pleasing, as it highlights everything that's fantastic about a good Spielberg film: the lush and enveloping John Williams score (so sorely missed in Bridge of Spies); beautiful cinematography; the use of suspense, even in comedy or lighter movies; graceful and engaging camera movement; pleasing composition of shots; good acting; and story material with themes that are never degrading or violent for its own sake. Can you tell I like him?:

Abbott is no Rudd.
the ALP could never explain why they got rid of Rudd when they were in a winning position. ( The same geniuses who thought to not go on with the ETS were behind the coup).
It was the opposite for Abbott and I cannot see the polls coming back for him IF the polls slip for the Libs.
I think the man who benefits most reform Abbott in the media is Turnbull as People are more relieved he is still not there!
Titley was impressive before Cruz
I see it from a slightly different perspective. I'm a Scot/Australian, drink single-malt Whisky, enjoy Rugby and Golf, hate AFL and most beers, can't understand why most aussies don't speak English (some try hard) and hate meeting one overseas (they used to be called 'Ugly Americans', how times have changed). But not withstanding my allergies, I will fly the flag for Australia whenever I can, conduct my religion in private or in church, and promise not to bow down in the middle of Bourke St at 5pm pointing towards a slab of rock in the middle of a Saudi desert with my arse in the air. That, my friends, is the result of EDUCATION, a system unknown to most followers of the Monarchist Obsession with The Pure Breeding of the 178 degree Lodge, standing in a crowd of like-minded imbecils with their arms raised & fingers pointing to some mythical Anglican-derived heretic who abused his position to move into ancient castles owned and operated by landowners whose claim on their land goes back before time immemorial.
Send this Trump idiot and all the apologists like him to the so called non-genocide historical context of the Great British Empire, which doesn’t exist. Where has this idiot been living lately? Oh I know this fool is laughing at us together with all the idiot leftists at the ABC/MSN/Slipper/Thompson. It's about time that we declared ZERO tolerance to idiots likeTony Abbott and his ilk and the rest of the foolish failed Conservatives and the likes of SHYoung/Greens and Labor who infested our beautiful country with this vermin called Islam to appease terror and increase their vote. This vermin appeases barbaric beheadings and mutilation of Empires past and think it's an appropriate punishment in a civilised world (and I could go on and on about hundreds of more barbaric acts that they commit on a daily basis in Australia ). Shame on all of you and we don't want anything within a bar of your excuses or the apologists of self centred Monarchists here in Australia, it's gone far enough and enough is enough.
An interesting comment, if only I could understand it better...
a well-informed and well-educated decision is more important than ever.
Thanks

My two cents: that trailer reminds me of how great Roald Dahl is too.
Naturally I was going to link to a Medical Opinion site myself, and/or offer you shares in a Nigerian bank, but I see that Shishir Patwa above has already got ahead of the curve, so bully for him.
I sort of assumed "shishir" was a female.
As for trailers: it seems that a good trailer does not necessarily mean a good film; but a dull trailer does usually mean a dull-ish film.
This trailer is good. I now have hopes for the film.
[Oh me of little faith. Do not strike me down, oh merciful and great God of Directing, Steven.]
Maybe the mysterious yet eloquent anonymous commenter above is in fact Major Misunderstanding.
