Yes I saw that. Increases in pfc is typically a good thing. In many pathologies you see the exact opposite, both predisposing and pathologically so. Can't draw any conclusions from this result.
There is a longitudinal series of studies that looked at children over many years exposed to cannabis in utero. Canadian Medical Journal, circa turn of the century. Again though, IIRC, no clear indication of the implications.
This came up today. I've read the study, pretty much lines up with my ideas regarding THC inhibiting calcium influx and 5-Lox. It is why I think cannabinoids should be investigated for dementia treatments and have long argued that older people should at least think about hemp based foods, though this study is about THC CBD also have neuroprotective features including 5-lox inhibition. Incidentally the 5 lox inhibition is currently being explored as an anti tumour treatment.
