I missed this on Radio National this morning, and they don't do transcripts of interviews, but I have to listen to the audio at the link. Can't do that now, but perhaps later:
So its Fran and some woppy and thats it right? Thats the task done right there. No need to have anyone else involved. The woppy and the dumb leftist chick have it all wrapped and posted.
Its not hardwired into the universal genome that nuclear is too expensive. Thats just a feature of the reality that a system based around subsidising bankers has left us in a situation where we have forgotten how to do big things in a cost-effective way.
So for example the Russians didn't get a whole lot out of communism. But they were left with a talent for getting big undertakings done with great cost-effectiveness. So now they have, for a fraction of the cost of what the Americans could have done, developed a range of weapons that has undermined the clear American hegemony. Now they can take out the American Aircraft carrier that for a few decades, had allowed the Americans to be untouchable. The Russians economy is not that big or that good. But they can take on goals of this sort without great cost, and one reason is that the way they do things hasn't been perverted by the mandatory Australian practice of leaving all value in the hands of the bankers.
The Usury cost of putting a large nuclear station together makes it prohibitive. So the idea is to not let any bankers into the room. But that ought to be the case always. You don't let the finance guys take all the loot in any situation.
I'm listening to Jacopo now. He's talking about how the Asians can get these projects done at half the cost of what is possible in the West. There is plenty of ways to reverse this outcome if we are serious. That was my big deal over at Quiggins when I was there under my own name. The story was being discussed in crude terms ... Nuclear versus solar. As soon as people are talking like that they've lost the plot.
The real story is how do we get these things done cost-effectively.
Hey this Jacopo woppy has the answers. He's a really smart fellow. The idea is to forget about dummies like Simon Holmes a Court, Michael Springer, and Fran Kelly and listen to the woppy directly. He's got the good oil. He's got the analysis to bring down the costs. He's talking about a lot of the things I've been talking about. Really beautiful stuff.

Fran Kelly could not ask a skllful question if she tried
bugger I listened to the interview and as I thought not one skillful question.
Get rid of her!
Nuclear might not be the answer if someone is asking the wrong fucking questions.

Nuclear is too damned expensive and takes way to long to build.
It aint an alternative and has never been one.

Good grief these dumb leftists can recruit anyone to their cause. Their dishonesty doesn't bottom out. Here is Jacopo again in only six minutes.

So satisfying to have these leftist lies backfire so thoroughly. This fellow is saying a lot of the things I was trying to get across at Quiggins.
Springer just completely full of shit. As I said before. If nuclear is not the answer then someone is asking the wrong bloody questions.
