Military event noted

I've read some tweets about Melania Trump's robotic, look at the audience as little as possible, speech in the newly de-flowered and de-tree'd Rose Garden, and still haven't seen anyone saying how her dress looked a lot to me like a version of a khaki military coat.  Surely someone else has noticed:

I would say it suited the whole Our Glorious Leader is Endorsed by the Military vibe of the proceedings, which many are noting is inappropriate if not actually illegal.

Steve Kates would be drolling in his porridge in excitement, though, I bet.

Easily the hottest first lady in the history of the Republic. I'd want her wearing something more feminine also. But its no biggee.

I agree Birdy. Definitely hot

I gotta say - if a woman reminds me too much of a female version of a Zoolander model (and she does), the nominal "hot" looks does nothing for me.

If you got her wearing something really gentle to offset her excessively harsh and chiselled features she would melt your cold leftist heart. There is no offset right there. Its all "onward Prussian soldiers". Did you know that the Prussians weren't even Germans? They were a Baltic people? How about that hey?

But anyway the reason she doesn't look attractive there is because of that militaristic vibe you were talking about. She looks like the evil ice queen or something. Give her human and non-soldiery things to wear and her obvious charms would be evident.

Your impressions are more than valid. I don't know how they cocked this up so badly. Its all one gear. All one theme. Where are her rainbows, lollipops, sugar and spice? You kind of expect an Abrams tank to be hiding behind those flags. Matter of fact thats the only real reason they could have so many flags. To hide the artillery.
