The bad guys may well have murdered a couple of people. I think they did murder that girl and I think she was indeed a Trump supporter. I wouldn't bet the house on it but I think thats probably right.
But where are the arrests? Where are all these Republican rowdies that need to be hunted down and given appropriate jail sentences? Why is not Jack Agnelli doing a few months in the hoose-gow? He's been identified right? Or the twitter fellow who went right into Nancy Peolosi's office?
The reason that there isn't multiple arrests is that all but a few of the instigators are Antifa types, dressed up to look like they drive pickup trucks and listen to country music. Of course a few passionate Trumpists may have gone along for the ride out of curiosity more than anything else. I think that boy from New Jersey who got a rubber bullet wound to the hand may well be in that category. But clearly the whole thing was fake and gay.
Trump supporters are more like that suicide squad from Monty Pythons The Life Of Brian. They are pretty ineffectual. They show up. Pray. Sing a couple of songs. They chant "stop the steal" and then they go home with their kids. Its a family atmosphere. Everyone is completely safe until Antifa shows up.
I had the top corner room of the Hotham Private Hotel at the corner of Spencer and Flinders Streets in Melbourne when George Bush Senior was due to visit the so-called "World Trade Centre" (which was newly built in Melbourne.) So I saw the protestors. The Police on horses. The big American holding his flag and that flag being ripped to pieces and burnt. I saw the full Panorama like no-one else could have. I saw the riot police on Spencer Street.
Now these guys didn't chase after left-wingers and beat them up. But they were an impenetrable barrier. They were like hoplites. No-one could get past them. You might live trying but you'd get your arms broken just if you were lucky. So now we have to pretend that wimpy actors and ageing country bumpkins can storm past all these barriers? This is just the usual nonsense. Its just one more in the long list of faked events.
Who murdered the girl with a clean shot to her neck from the (at least temporarily) safe side of the door? Why don't we know his name? Not knowing his name doesn't prove that the girl wasn't murdered (although that is a strong possibility). But what it does mean is that the situation was rigged from the start.
On another note here is something I was talking to you about exactly a year ago. I have a job at the moment. But I'm still ready to sort this problem out. Awaiting orders.
Hey you know you can be real awesome and still be overrated right? Like Meryl Streep was pretty damn awesome. But not so fantastic as some people made her out to be. Probably Janis Jopln the same. Pretty damn good but not as good as they made her out to be.
Well Covid-19 was serious stuff. But it still managed to be overhyped.
All the evidence I am looking out says that the second strain is the real deal. The second strain is UNDERHYPED. Just when people were no longer afraid to go back in the water. Thats something you might have to work on. I'm even more decisively breaking from my conservative thought leaders. I'm thinking the second wave is very serious.
I'm scared myself. You may remember that I wasn't worried about the first wave. I thought that my stash was good enough for the first wave and I still think that.
But this second wave .... I'm having actual experience advising on it. The last one was a vicious tricky beast. But this one is a catastrophe. And if it isn't a catastrophe it will do just fine until the catastrophe gets here.
If the UK experience is any guide the second strain is very worrisome. People are being hopeful the vaccine roll out will return life to normal but even in advanced nations it's going to take a very long time for the roll out so 2021 is not going to be the recovery year many are hoping for. The big question is what will happen if various nations suffer crippling health and economic consequences?
