Yes, the theme of responsibility from within the GOP is the key distressing thing here. They (or at least half of them) are still endorsing the RW alternative reality universe even after seeing the consequences in front of their gas masked faces.
But the larger scale issue is that they are willing and gullible pawns of the RW media alternative reality universe, which learnt nothing from yesterday:
Yes: the long term problem is the information alternative reality and hyperbolic political scare universe (in which formerly centrist positions are denounced as socialist suicide) originating in RW media that has brainwashed such a large part of the American voting population, including (it would seem) at least half of Republican politicians.
If moderate Republicans don't push back, the problem continues.

I see some dumb bell on Catallaxy said 50,000 dead people voted. He obviously does not understand how e4asy it is to prove that and win a court case.

Trump took the USA up to the precipice of civil war. Today he backed down and acknowledged Biden won. I think he did this because people were whispering in his ear do that or you're the one who is going to be locked up.
Note that there was NO DEBUNKING of any Washington Post article. The Washington Post article was spot on and there was no debunking ever. Its just someone saying that he's debunking the article. But unsuccessfully so. In fact he proves the contrary case by supplying the photos. And a change of makeup by central casting doesn't mean a different person.
Look how crude the script is here. The fellow dressed as a mummified Valhalla devotee, with the multiple voiceovers claiming him to be a white supremacist, and he's the one they let sit on the seat that Vice President Pence was sitting on a few minutes earlier.
But it doesn't matter how crude the script is. Stupid people everywhere will keep believing these mockups.
That fellow is a known Antifa protestor in Odinest clobber. He's a lefty Jason. He's an actor. Plus he's not real fit. He's just skinny.
What are you guys going to believe next? That an out of work actor can break in to communist party headquarters in Beijing? Or a fellow dressed as the ghost of John Brown of emancipation fame can march into the Kremlin and sit at Putin's table?
