Gee, its hard not to interpret this as s sign that the internal polling (and focus groups) must be looking disastrous for Morrison and the LNP:
That's on top of this:
But the Prime Minister has changed his tune as he enters the final week of the campaign, trailing in the polls and momentum swinging behind Labor.
"I know (that) Australians know I can be a bit of a bulldozer when it comes to issues," he conceded.
"As we go into this next period on the other side of the pandemic, I know things that are going to have to change with the way I do things."
A promise to change, if given the chance, "because we're moving into a different time, a time of opportunity."
In campaign terms, it is a tectonic shift.

panic it is and albos retort was pretty good as well.
It does look like a Labor win. Morrison will be dumped as leader. Dutton as leader is a real possibility. He has the charisma of roadkill. He will keep them from government for at least 2 terms. His ranting about that Chinese vessel is stupid because on many occasions China has had a US fleet, a British carrier, and various ships from other nations parked off the coast. Dutton's go to strategy is to scare people. That's not leadership. Many conservatives love him.
"He has the charisma of roadkill."
Heh - true. The thing I find surprising about him is how he has become progressively worse over the years - no softening of his image with familiarity, which is what happens with some politicians.
